At SCUBA VBS, kids explore what it means to have a friendship with a real, loving, trustworthy God - a friendship that lasts forever! You can expect a week full of faith discoveries, memorable music, and epic adventures that help kids grow in faith!
Children will be assigned into crews - small groups that are close in age plus a Crew Leader and Assistant Crew Leader. Crews will include rising first and second graders and rising third through fifth graders. Rising kindergartners will be in their own crews. Crews travel together for each day's adventures.
Sing & Play Splash - The day begins at Sing & Play Splash. All crews are together as they are introduced to the daily Bible Point, key Bible verse, and Bible Memory Buddy. Each day, kids sing the theme song, "Thanks God," a celebration of gratitude to God. Each day, Crew members discuss their God's Sightings as a reminder that God is at work every day!
Deep Bible Adventures - At Deep Bible Adventures kids will experience the daily Bible story in a way that engages them physically and emotionally.
Tidal Treats - Each day's snack experience connects to the SCUBA theme.
Coral Crafts - Kids will dive into exciting crafts that connect to our awesome theme.
Sticky Scripture - New this year! At Sticky Scripture, fresh and meaningful experiences help words in the Bible stick - to kids' hearts and minds and lives! Kids dive in and explore each day's Bible verse in a surprising way. Through an interactive video experience, kids are submerged into the undersea world on the SSCS - the Sticky Scripture Cyber Submarine. They will also learn about our Operation Kid-to-Kid mission project.
Reef Rec - Each day the children will play games that connect with the daily Bible Point.
Fin-tastic Finale - All crews will end the day at Fin-tastic Finale where there will be drama experiences and engaging object lessons to help kids apply what they've learned throughout the day. Kids watch the special daily Spotlight VBS slideshow - featuring photographs of the kids that reminds them of the daily Bible story and Bible Point.
