2026 RAINFOREST FALLS! VBS

WELCOME to Saint Mark the Evangelist Parish RAINFOREST FALLS! VBS. When registering, please select the grade your child is in as of SPRING 2026 (current grade/age). 

Please read the directions carefully to determine which of the three groups is best for your child:

• PRESCHOOL is for ages 4-5 (Note: 3-year-olds who are currently attending preschool may be the exception - please contact me). Any preschooler attending must be potty-trained and able to separate from Mom/Dad. For 5-year-olds/pre-K you may select preschool OR regular VBS (please note, preschool is still recommended - it has shorter rotation times, simpler activities, smaller groups and is less noisy and overwhelming). Their rooms are in the upper hallway. 
• ELEMENTARY VBS is for kindergarten-4th grades. Kids will be assigned to mixed age groups - they are not separated by grade. Pre-K kids may do better in our preschool group. Their rooms are in the lower level. 
• VBX is for 5th-6th graders. VBX is VBS but XTRA! This is for the older kids only - it is energetic, fully involved and made for a pre-teen level with hands-on activities, more freedom, and group-led discussion and Bible connection. Last year was our 1st year offering this and the kids LOVED it! VBX area is in the lower/old library area and rooms, lower level.  
  

PLEASE NOTE there is a BIG difference between preschool and regular VBS. Preschoolers are grouped only with other preschoolers, they will have about 12 kids per group, their rotations are shorter time frames, and activities are simplified. Preschool meets in the upper-level rooms of Saint Kilian School, with their own separate drop-off and pick-up access. Children in grades K-4 are in mixed-age groups - they are not separated according to grade. VBS and VBX will both have separate areas in the lower-level rooms of the school in groups of 25; drop-off and pick-up for VBS is in the cafeteria with the large group; for VBX drop off at main entrance, pick up in the gym.

FEE: Early-bird fee is $45 per child; no multiple child discount. Registration fee includes participant t-shirt, and music CD or download card (1 music choice/item per family). The late registration fee begins June 1st and is $55 per child; t-shirt sizes or availability and/or music is not guaranteed for late registrations. Please contact the parish if payment is a financial hardship - we want all children to be able to attend!
