At this COMPLETELY FREE event, boys will learn about missionaries, listen to a devotional about the Great Commission, practice their camping and survival skills, play Gaga Ball, and participate in a Pinewood derby for a chance of winning a trophy!
This is an overnight campout so we ask that for every 5 kids your church brings, you also register and send at least 1 adult male.
This is a men's and boy's campout only, but girls and women are encouraged to attend and participate in the Pinewood Derby on Saturday! Bring your own car or contact us and we will help you get a kit!
Adult sponsors can be Pastors, Children's Ministry Leaders, RA Leaders, Dads, Uncles or whoever but they all must provide a letter via email from their pastor verifying that they have passed a background check within the past year to woodlakebcevents@gmail.com.
Additionally, all adults who register will be emailed a link to an online child safety course that they must complete prior to the event. (If you completed one in the past year for summer camp or another event, please also email the certificate of completion to woodlakebcevents@gmail.com)
This event will happen RAIN OR SHINE! If the weather doesn't cooperate, we can campout in the gym and learn different skills :)

We are not charging a fee for this event and will be providing dinner and breakfast for an unknown number of boys and men (we are inviting all SABA churches in San Antonio to join us!) So donations of any amount are very welcome and greatly appreciated!
