York United Methodist Church is proud to offer Vacation Bible School 2021! Designed for children in preschool through grade 5, our fun, free VBS will run Monday August 9 through Thursday August 12 from 6:30-8pm at York UMC, 6566 Norwalk Road, Medina. The children will hear bible stories, learn songs, do a craft & get to take home a snack each evening. Join us as we learn how to be STRONG IN THE LORD!
Please pre-register your child/children so we can determine our groups prior to the first evening. The children will be grouped as follows: ages 3, 4 & 5 will be our PRESCHOOL GROUP. Grades Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd will be ELEMENTARY #1. Grades 3rd, 4th & 5th will be ELEMENTARY #2. We have designed our VBS to follow all current safety protocols. Parents are welcome to stay with their children, but must remain with them the entire duration of the evening. This keeps us in line with our safe sanctuary policy.
Knights of North Castle: Quest for the King's Armor, invites children to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power! Kids will take on the role of brave Knights and begin their quest each session by opening the King's Book. They'll explore Old and New Testament stories and discover different pieces of protective armor-the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Justice, the Shoes of Peace, the Shield of Faith, and the Helmet of Salvation- at work in the lives of familiar Bible characters, and explore how that armor works in their own lives as they follow and serve God. Help kids take up the gauntlet and accept the challenge to "armor up" and be strong by remaining with God and sharing God's love to the world!
