Awana Families,
We will begin our club year virtually. We know that there are many uncertainties as it pertains to schools and schedules, so we wanted to provide a way for you to have control over your schedule. We have made the decision to be virtual the first half of the club year and re-evaluate mid December for the second half of the club year. We are very hopeful that we will be able to have in person Awana beginning January 2021. It is now more important than ever that our children read and learn God's Word so that they would come to know, love and serve Him, this is eternal!
VirtualAwana– Large Group Lesson
Village ChapelAwanaClubs will take place via the internet. Here is what that looks like. Each Wednesday evening a link will be posted to the Village Chapel website, https://www.villagechapelchurch.org/kids along with an email from me with the links to each of the clubs (Puggles, Cubbies, Sparks, T&T) large group lesson. Videos will be ready to watch and the links will go live each Wednesday at 5pm. You may also receive additional instructions, craft ideas, game ideas via email from myself, the specific club director or the Village Chapel Children's Ministry Facebook Page. By posting the videos to the VC YouTube page, that will allow you to subscribe and go back and watch the lesson as many time as you wish.
Handbook Time
Who will listen to my clubbers verses, review their handbook work and sign off on their completed sections? Here is the simple answer…YOU! I have attached a document for those parents who have clubbers in Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T. The guidelines are spelled out on how to listen to verses, review handbook work and sign their completed sections. I ask that you fully read and follow all of the guidelines, challenging your clubbers to give God their very best effort.
