👉YOU ARE INVITED!! The Chapel on Camp Walker Invites children to #vbsareaiv: Life is wild, God is good. Vacation Bible School is a week long summer kids’ event that will be hosted at the Soldier Memorial Chapel on Camp Walker starting MONDAY from 17 June to 21 June, the week right after school ends. At #VBS, kids discover that God is good even when life gets wild! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, eat yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Wild Bible Adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, and create or test out Sciency-Fun crafts they can show their family and friends. Each day concludes with the Safari Celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Loved ones are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 11:40am in the chapel sanctuary.
Our #VbsAreaIV will join a missions effort to provide nutrition packets and health checkups for moms and babies in need in Zambia, Africa through Operation Kid 2 Kid.

I truly am excited about all the different volunteers that are saying YES and committing to serve as they bring their own unique personalities and giftings that will touch the lives of the children and hopefully their families this year.
It is my desire that when we are done serving or participating in VBS, we will each have learned AND experienced something new about Jesus and grown closer to Him throughout this process of being together for VBS 2019. For those of us serving, I pray we will each recognize and see a glimpse of how God worked through us in encouraging others to boldly follow Him or to trust in Jesus for the very first time.
Finally, it is our prayer that once VBS is over, the children who participated as well as the middle schoolers, teens and adults that volunteered would find opportunities to continue to develop, grow and maybe even serve one another through their relationships with Christ and each other in the various chapel services such asArea IV Protestant Youth of the Chapel (PYOC),PWOC Area IV, and KWOC.
