Guide kids on the ultimate Alaskan adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. As kids trek the tundra, they’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Pointing them toward Jesus, True North VBS shows them that he is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North!
The St. Pius VBS program wants to offer a VBS experience where our elementary age students know that they are the focus of their teen and adult volunteer attention. As part of that experience, all teen and adult volunteers, must adhere to a "No phone, No earbud" policy. Please see the attached policy document. Policy acknowledgment must be signed by both parent and teen volunteer if under the age of 18.
All volunteers, age 18+, must have a current training and background check thru Virtus. Please go to https://www.virtusonline.org/virtus/index.cfm and create an account and watch the assigned training videos. If you already have an account, please make sure that all of your training is up to date.
