Welcome all to St. Mary's Lutheran Church -Kenosha's Vacation Bible School "Maker Fun Factory VBS 2017"! This is a very special camp designed to combine our littles, our kids, our tweens, youth and adults in ways that will celebrate God's love as we discover God's creation - US! Created by God - Built for a Purpose!
We will offer a week's worth of light, healthy suppers that can be purchased ahead of time to start our night of fun! Opening with music at 5:45pm - we will hear our Worship Band and Friends lead us in some fantastic music! We'll meet our Bible Buddy for the day - learn the Bible lesson and send you on your way! Adults join their kids for their Crew's rotations: except for games and Bible Stories: adults will experience their own enjoyment and maybe some Bible connections with other grownups! We will share in making God's creation anew with each story, song & friend!
A very special Preschool VBS Camp: Tinker Tots Camp runs simultaneously with our Maker Fun Factory camp. This mini-camp is designed with our "Littles" in mind - pint-sized games, crafts, songs and lessons! These kiddos get to sing with the "Bigs" and get to leave by 7:30pm. It is a long night for our "Littles".
Our worship band adds an element of live! action music to the already incredible songs that come from Group VBS! Come see and play along with the band each night at Openings and Closings! We will share our songs with the church family on Sunday, July 30 at the 9:30am service. The mission offering we will be collecting School Supplies for local, area children and families in need. Each night will be a different supply. Sunday Night: Paper Monday: Pencils Tuesday: Pens Wednesday: Markers Thursday: Crayons
Volunteers begin at 7th Grade and go on UP as far as you can go! There are jobs for all skills, sitting, standing, running and photographers! We need first aid station, we need registration, we need kitchen help, we need outdoor play and games help! You name it! You can do it!
The cost is $5 per family member registration: if you have 2 parents and 2 kids = $20. The light supper option is $2 a day or $10 for the whole week. One day we order out Pizza! You will be eligible to buy a music download or CD of our great Maker Fun Factory tunes! $6 per item. You cannot put a price on the friends you make, the joy you bring or the praise we share! Shouting out "I Love You, God!" is priceless.
