Important Information for Volunteers
- Help is needed in many areas in the weeks before, during, and after VBS. To offer help in any area, please complete the Volunteer Registration form and select ALL the areas in which you are interested. - Volunteers must have completed 8th grade; teens who have not yet completed 8th grade are invited to register as a participant in VBS this year.
- Child care is provided in the nursery only for children of VBS volunteers who remain at the church during the event from 5:15 pm to 8:30 pm Sunday 6/16, 5:40 pm to 8:40 pm Monday 6/17 through Thursday 6/20, and 5:40 pm until 7:00 pm Friday 6/21. There is no fee for child care in the nursery; however we ask that parents register nursery children using the participant link. Registered volunteers who will remain on site during the event will receive information about the special Preschool VBS for their children; there is a $5 per child fee for the special session and registration is required.
- Volunteers may purchase themed VBS staff T-Shirts for $8 per shirt to wear during the event. These shirts help identify and distinguish authorized event staff. These T-shirts must be ordered in advance. If you would like to order a T-Shirt and agree to pay the fee, please select a size on the Volunteer Registration Form. Otherwise, choose "no T-Shirt" for the size.
