We will be raising monetary funds for the Journey Church in Harrisburg. This is a brand new United Methodist Church that was just formed and is just beginning....we will be sending Pastor Kris Sledge and Nicole Wolf, the Director of Christian Education the money that we raise to use towards purchasing curriculum.
Both Kris and Nicole have played vital roles in our VBS program over the years and this is a wonderful way to say thank you and to pay it forward to help them on their Christian Education journey! <3
As always, we like to collect a tangible item too so that the kids can watch our pile grow and GROW throughout our week together!! They get to see how their one or two items....can build and grow into so much more. We will be collecting Diapers of all sizes and wipes to be distributed to New Life for Girls and possibly other places in the community that are in need of them.
