Preparing for VBS

Arrivals And Pick-Ups

On Monday, the front doors will open to families at 8:30am. Every other day the doors will open at 8:45am. You are invited to join us for our Closing Assembly every day at 11:30am. Children will be dismissed at 12pm.


What to Bring and Wear

  • Sunscreen/bug spray (apply before)
  • Hat (labeled with name)
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Backpack (labeled with name)
  • Water Bottle (labeled with name)
  • If your child is a picky eater, feel free to pack a snack alternative that they will enjoy


Beyond VBS- Food Drive

During VBS we will be collecting donations for the Food Bank. They can be placed in the foyer at the base of the rocks. For a list of needed items, please see FOOD DRIVE page.


After VBS

There will be a family BBQ on Friday July 24 at 12pm. There will be a variety of lawn games out for families to enjoy together! We would also like to invite you to attend our Sunday service on July 26. The children will be singing a couple of songs and we’ll show video footage from their week at VBS.

Day 1

Bible Story: Genesis 1 God creates the world.

Day 2

Bible Point: God knows everything (Wow, God!)

Bible Buddy: Seymour the Glass Frog

Key Bible Verse: Psalm 139:1 "O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me."

Bible Story: Psalm 139 David celebrates all God knows.

Day 3

Bible Point: God is our safe place (Wow, God!)

Bible Buddy: Dottie the Ocelot

Key Bible Verse: Psalm 142:5 "Then I pray to you, O Lord. I say, 'You are my place of refuge.'"

Bible Story: 1 Samuel 23-24 David hides from Saul.

Day 4

Bible Point: God is Love (Wow, God!)

Bible Buddy: Tia the Giant Anteater

Key Bible Verse: Psalm 136:1 "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever."

Bible Story: Luke 22:39-24:12 Jesus dies and comes to life to show God's love.

Day 5

Bible Point: God is Forever (Wow, God!)

Bible Buddy: Howie the Howler Monkey

Key Bible Verse: Psalm 115:18 "But we can praise the Lord both now and forever! Praise the Lord!"

Bible Story: Revelation 7:17, 21-22 God gives John a vision of heaven.
