Q. What grade should I register my camper for?
A. Please register them for the school grade they are currently in (2025-2026) - not the grade they will attend next school year.
Q. What should my camper wear to VBS?
A. Each day your child should wear their VBS T-shirt. T-shirts will be given out on day one of VBS. If we have shirts left over, additional shirts can be purchased beginning Wednesday of VBS week at the registration tables in the Narthex for $5 each.
Q. How does drop off and pick up work?
A. Morning drop off: Campers should be seated in the Sanctuary with their crew by 9:00 a.m. for opening at Tune Lagoon each day. We will not be ready to receive campers until 8:50a. Our volunteers don’t arrive before 8:30a. Thanks for understanding! Please escort your child inside the Sanctuary to their crew’s pew and drop off to their crew leaders. You will need to sign them in and out each day.
Q. What should my camper bring to VBS?
A. Snacks will be provided daily. We will note any allergies you indicate on their registration forms and will provide safe alternatives as needed (ie. nut free or gluten free). Please send a water bottle with your camper, that’s been labeled with their first and last name. Our campus has water fountains and bottle filling stations available. We also suggest comfortable shorts and closed-toed shoes for their safety.
Q. How do I know what crew my explorer is in?
A. An email will be sent the week before VBS to all parents of registered children with crew information and helpful hints.
Q. Is there a photo release needed?
A. Yes. Please complete the photo release and medical consent shared on this website. Scan or take a picture and email to Heather Mikes, hmikes@vpcnaples.org.
Q. If my plans change, can I cancel registration?
A. Yes. It allows us to invite someone from the waitlist. Please let us know if your plans change! The VBS registration fee is non-refundable and will be considered a VBS donation. Thank you, kindly!
