This year's VBS will explore the lives of children in the Bible. We will meet children from the Bible and learn how their childhood lessons grew their hearts like Jesus and carried into their adult lives. It will also include a special event for middle schoolers as well as an interactive workshop for parents.
Rhonda Spencer-Hwang, DrPH, an Associate Professor and Epidemiologist at Loma Linda University, will facilitate the parenting workshop with a blend of virtual presentations and live interactive table discussions and activities to empower parents to raise resilient kids. She has published an award winning book on this topic in 2021.
