Praying Pelican Missions
As an organization, Praying Pelican Missions is dedicated to genuine partnerships, long-term relationships and sustainable ministry. Each of their teams is partnered directly with a local church / local ministries to encourage and assist them in what they are doing in their communities. They have been partnering across the world, starting in Belize, since 2004. This year they are scheduled to have approximately 13,000 participants serve with us around the world. Even with this number of participants and trips their ministry partners only receive one or at most two teams a year. Because there is such a great need, our teams service will be a rich blessing to the community we will be working in.
The Trip
Mission: We will participate in meaningful ministries with members of the local church and community serving alongside of them. We will be doing construction projects while we are there to help improve conditions for those who live there everyday and suffered great loss and damage from Hurricane Dorian.
Reflection: Each evening we have built in time to reflect on all the Lord has done that day. We will have worship, a devotion and communion.
Fun: We will have one day for an excursion where we will get to experience the beauty of our host country!
