Mission Project for the Week:
As part of True North VBS, our church will participate in an Operation Kid-to-Kid mission project that gives kids the opportunity to give money to provide a family in Central America with a fruit tree that will keep giving for years to come. In some Central American villages, children go to bed without enough to eat, and parents struggle to provide healthy meals. Without key nutrients like vitamin C, kids face sickness, weakened immune systems, and even long-term health problems. Fruit trees like oranges, bananas, mangoes, and papayas provide sweet, nutritious food kids love. These trees don’t just feed a family—they also give parents a way to earn income and even bless their neighbors by sharing seedlings. Plus, planting trees protects the land from erosion and flooding! This helps communities during seasons of heavy rain. This year at Rainforest Falls VBS, we have the opportunity to bless countless parents in Central American countries, helping them feed their children, provide financially for their families, and support their communities. Children may bring an offering each night of VBS to be donated to this cause.
