ARRIVAL:  Please ESCORT your child/children to their assigned crew leaders and make sure each leader knows your child has arrived.  Drop off times are between 8:50 am — 9:00 am.  BOTH preschool AND elementary-aged children will be dropped off and picked up IN THE SANCTUARY.  Please park on the west side of the church and enter in the front-side entrance closest to the parking lot.  (Please do not use the preschool entrance!)

DISMISSAL:  Pick-up time is 12 noon in the sanctuary.  Please allow a few extra minutes during the first day for dismissal as we are releasing over 150 kids back to their parents.  We cannot accommodate individual requests to pick-up children early.  Due to the noise level in the sanctuary, please remain outside of the sanctuary (in the east/west narthex) until the doors open.  If there is an emergency, please notify one of the volunteers.

ILLNESS:  Out of consideration for our many dedicated volunteers along with other VBS participants, please do not send your child to Vacation Bible School if he/she is sick or has experienced a fever within 24 hours.

T-SHIRTS:  T-Shirts will be given out the first morning for children to wear over their clothes and removed at the end of the day.  The shirts will go home with your child on Friday.

CDs:  CDs featuring all of the songs from VBS will be available for purchase at VBS.  The cost will be $7 per CD, payable upon purchase.  Drop by the table as you enter the church from the west parking lot during drop-off to purchase your CDs.  CDs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

FOOD ALLERGIES/MEDICAL NEEDS:  A nurse or First Aid/CPR certified individual will be on duty each day in the Education office.  If you have an epi-pen to leave, you may leave it with the nurse on Monday morning—please look for her as you enter the church from the west parking lot.

Your child will enjoy a different snack each day of VBS that fits in with our daily Bible story.  These snacks include varied ingredients, some of which do have traces of nuts and other potential allergens (milk, soy, eggs, etc.).  If you are interested in reviewing the labels on our daily snacks, you may visit the kitchen in the fellowship hall after you drop your child to his/her crew and our snack volunteers will assist you.  Due to the number of VBS participants, we CANNOT make substitutions on an individual basis.  If your child cannot eat the daily snack (or any part of it), please send a snack with him/her, and give it to his/her crew leader.  If your child has a SEVERE ALLERGY, please send a snack with your child EVERY DAY.
