Is there a deadline to register? Yes. The earlier you register, the better! In order to specify your child's t-shirt size and your family's music gift preference (digital download or music CD), please register by Monday, May 22. Online registration will close on Monday, June 5. This allows us time to place your child(ren) in a group and ensure we have enough materials available. If you miss this deadline, please contact Kari Stern, Director of Children and Family Ministry, directly.

Do you have to be a member of Messiah Church to attend? Nope! Everyone is welcome at Stellar Summer Camp! Register your friends too!

How much does Stellar Summer Camp cost? Summer Camp 2023 is $35/child with a max of $70/family. Each registered family will receive a free music gift and each child will receive a Stellar Camp t-shirt. If you are registering for the optional full day of camp, please add $35/child to your payment.

How do I pay for camp? There are three easy options to pay:

  1. Pay online. Click here to pay and secure your child’s spot.
  2. Pay by check. Please mail to: Kari Stern, c/o Messiah Church, 17805 County Road 6, Plymouth, MN 55447. Please make checks payable to “Messiah Church” (note "Summer Camp 2023" in the memo line).
  3. Pay via text message. Text the registration dollar amount to (763) 333-2673 and follow the prompts.

We believe no child should miss this! Scholarships are available - please contact Kari Stern, Director of Children and Family Ministry, at (763) 473-6968 ext 115 or kstern@messiahchurch.org for more information.

What ages is Stellar Summer Camp for? These high-energy activities are geared for children ages 4 through (just finishing) 5th grade.

Do you offer a longer day for those needing extended care? Yes! We offer optional extended afternoon camp for children already attending Stellar Summer Camp. Kids eat lunch (that they bring) at camp then continue their camp adventures until 4 pm. Sign up for the extended day as part of camp registration. Extended camp is just $35/child. (Please note: Afternoon extended camp is NOT offered on Friday, June 16.)

Can my kids come just for the afternoons? No. Extended afternoon camp is for children already attending Stellar Summer Camp in the mornings.

Can I drop-off early or pick-up later?  Please drop your child(ren) off no earlier than 8:45 am. If this causes a hardship for your family, please contact Kari at kstern@messiahchurch.org. All morning-only children must be picked up at 12 pm each day. If your child(ren) are staying for the extended afternoon camp, you may pick up as late as 4:30 pm. However, if you are able to pick up at 4 pm, please do so. Please indicate your need for late pick-up when you register. (Please note: All children must be picked up by 12 pm on Friday, June 16.)

How do we get the free music gift? Choose "digital download" or "music CD" when you register your child(ren). (If you register after Monday, May 22, all music gifts will be CD.) Both CDs and downloads will be available to you beginning on Sunday, June 4. Your kids will be able to listen these fun songs over and over again, and will be ready to sing along when camp starts!

Are snacks permitted? We will provide a peanut-free mid-morning snack each day. A second mid-afternoon snack is provided for kids who stay for the extended afternoon camp.

Is lunch provided? If your child is signed up for extended afternoon camp, please pack them a healthy lunch. Refrigeration is not available.

What policies do you have in place for COVID safety?

  • Dress for the weather (and wear sunscreen)! Stellar Summer Camp will be held both indoors and outdoors.
  • Please send your child with a water bottle. Refill stations are available.
  • If you or your child(ren) are feeling sick or have recently been exposed to someone with COVID, please refrain from attending. If anyone in your household has tested positive for COVID five days or less before camp begins, please refrain from attending.
