Coming to Messiah Church June 9-13  *  9 aM-12 pM

The ultimate Alaskan adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. As kids trek the tundra, they’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Pointing them toward Jesus, True North VBC shows them that he is a faithful friend we can always trust. God is our True North! This adventure of a lifetime is guaranteed summer fun for your kids 4 years old through (just finishing) 5th grade. We’ll explore God’s awesomeness with five mornings of high-energy, fun-filled activities, including music, interactive stories, games, and science. All are welcome – register today!


Extended Care Available

Do you need afternoon extended care for your child(ren)? We offer optional extended afternoons of camp for kids (must be finishing kindergarten) already attending True North Summer Camp. More fun is to be had Monday-Thursday until 4 pm for only $50/child! Afternoon programming allows campers to further explore themes from the morning through supplemental arts, fun activities, service projects, and games. Campers must bring their own lunch and we will provide an afternoon snack. Campers who stay will have supervised, unstructured lunch/playtime from 12-1 pm and the afternoon adventures run from 1-4 pm. Campers are welcome to register for just the morning camp or stay all day. (No afternoon-only option is available.) Extended care is limited to 20 children. Sign up for the extended day as part of the summer camp registration process. Please note: Afternoon extended camp is NOT offered on Friday, June 13.

Late pick-up (as late as 4:30 pm) is also available. During this time, children will have supervised, unstructured activities as they wait for their adult to pick them up. Please indicate if you need late pick-up when you register your child(ren) for summer camp. Please note: All children must be picked up by 12 pm on Friday, June 13.

Summer Camp is $40/child (discounts for families and scholarships available). Each registered family will receive a free music gift and each child will receive a TRUE NORTH Camp t-shirt. Optional extended afternoon camp can be added for only $50/child.

Please Note:

  • Dress for the weather (and wear sunscreen)! True North Summer Camp will be held both inside and outdoors.
  • Please send your child(ren) with a water bottle. Refill stations are available. 
  • If you or your child(ren) are feeling sick, please refrain from attending.

True North Summer Camp requires a lot of volunteer support! Adults and youth finishing 6th grade and older are welcome to volunteer for this high-energy week of camp. Register today!
