A very big part of MAGNIFIED Vacation Bible School is to help others! Our mission this year will be collecting non-perishable food donations for the Little Help Food Pantry. Donations of food or personal care items are welcome! We have set a goal of 1,000 donation items for the week. Can you help us reach this goal? We sure hope so! Each day as donation items come in your child will receive a ticket and be entered into a daily prize drawing. For every 100 items collected a MAGNIFIED Volunteer will get a pie in the face. On Friday, the kids will fill a bag with great MAGNIFIED Souvenirs. We will have a great assortment of items to choose from!

Don't forget... there will probably be some TWISTS AND TURNS IN OUR FUN! Please, watch the daily take home paper for details.

Food Drive Suggestion Ideas:

For every item donated, one ticket will be given to the child.

Monday: Any canned food item: vegetables, potatoes, beans, pasta, soup or canned meats.

Tuesday:  Peanut Butter or Jelly

Wednesday:  Any kind of Cereal (hot or cold)

Thursday:  Toilet Paper 1 roll or several.  

Friday:  Any Personal Care Item

Bonus for 2 Tickets on Friday Only if you bring in Shampoo or Deodorant

Children will get a ticket for each item brought in.  The above is suggested, but ANY item can be donated on ANY day for credit.  

Exception is on Friday is Bonus Day with the shampoo and deodorant.  

The Little Help Food Pantry is open the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays from 9:30am -12:30pm to everyone who live with the North Newton School Corporation, Shelby and Schneider in Lake County Indiana. In June, the pantry is open June 10th & 24th.  In July, the pantry is open July 8th & 22nd.   The Little Help Food Pantry offers FREE Food and is located at the Lake Village Presbyterian Church. If you are in need, please bring your photo ID and we will be happy to serve you and your family!
