Please have faith our participant and volunteer safety is of utmost importance to all of us. Here are some of the things we are planning to put into place for a COVID friendly VBS:
- We will follow all state and local guidelines that are current at the time of VBS (including recommendations regarding wearing masks).
- Drive up check in, to reduce the number of people interacting.
- Using hula hoops, pool noodles, or other easy, fun visuals to encourage physical distancing.
- Snacks will be individually packaged.
- Games will be non-contact and equipment will not be shared.
- Multiple outdoor sanitizing areas will be set up.
- There will be a designated sick child area away from all other children staffed by a volunteer. Parents will be notified immediately if child starts feeling unwell.
