What is VBS?
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a summer church outreach focused on giving kids a fun and creative place to learn about the Bible and to build relationships with churches and other kids in the area. Each year has a different theme with new songs, crafts, snacks, and games!
Why does Lifeway do VBS?
Many people may wonder what the purpose of Vacation Bible School is and if it's still relevant. The answer is actually very simple: the purpose of VBS is to minister children in the church, create outreach to the surrounding communities, and to create evangelism opportunities. Additionally, we partner with local charities to collect food, school supplies, and other donations to support our local communities.
Does Lifeway benefit monetarily from VBS?
We do not benefit monetarily from VBS. We fund VBS through offerings collected by the church members, donations, and rummage sales. Neither the church, nor the staff receive any form of compensation from VBS.
What if my kid cannot attend for one or more days?
No problem! Your kids are welcome to attend as many or as few days as they would like to.
Do I have to pay anything for my kid to attend or participate in VBS?
Nope! Registration and participation in VBS is 100% free.
When is the last day to register?
You can register your child online or in person at any point before or during VBS.
How many years of VBS has Lifeway done?
Lifeway has been hosting VBS since before the year 2000! We have missed a couple years intermittently, but have decades of experience providing the community with this free outreach.
