Thursday, June 27 Kids Week Family Celebration (6:30-8:00m): We encourage our volunteers to come join us for a time of fun with your family even if you are not volunteering that night.

In general, we accept student volunteers who have completed grade 8 and above for the 2023-2024 school year. We also welcome students who have completed 6th and 7th grades, if they are volunteering with a parent/guardian.

All volunteers 18 years old and older must have a current Grace Chapel Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) before they can serve at Kids Week. We will email you should you need a new or updated CORI.

For Middle and High School volunteers, what grade have you completed for the 2023-2024 school year? There is an answer option for adult.

Volunteer jobs and requirement can be found in the drop-down box to the question "What Positions Are You Interested In?" at the top of the registration form. Please read through the job description carefully as some jobs have minimum age/grade requirement while others have earlier start time and/or later end time.

List the top three positions you are interested in (in order of preference please). We will let you know your assigned job within 2 weeks of your registration. Positions will be assigned based on needs and availability.

We regularly take photos of events and activities here at Grace Chapel; occasionally, we share those photos on our website, in our Sunday services, or on social media. If you have any concerns about pictures of you or your child appearing online, please contact our Children's Ministry Director, Patricia Lake at plake@grace.org

LIABILITY RELEASE and MEDICAL TREATMENT PERMISSION for ALL VOLUNTEERS. The undersigned (Parent or Legal Guardian of volunteers below 18 years old) does hereby give permission for my child (known as Participant) to attend and participate in any Grace Chapel KIDS WEEK ministry activities. All volunteers known as Participant in the release below.

LIABILITY RELEASE: In consideration of Grace Chapel allowing the Participant to participate in KIDS WEEK, I, the undersigned, do hereby release, forever discharge and agree to hold harmless Grace Chapel, its Pastors, Board Members, directors, employees, volunteers and teachers (collectively herein the “Church”) from any and all liability, claims or demands for accidental personal injury, sickness or death, as well as property damage and expenses, of any nature whatsoever which may be incurred by the Participant while involved in the KIDS WEEK activities. I hereby assume all risk of accidental personal injury, sickness, death, damage and expense as a result of participation in recreation and work activities involved therein. The undersigned further hereby agrees to hold harmless and indemnify said Church for any liability sustained by said Church as the result of the negligent, willful or intentional acts of said Participant, including expenses incurred attendant thereto. MEDICAL TREATMENT PERMISSION: In the event the Participant suffers an illness or injury that requires medical attention, I give Grace Chapel the authority to obtain whatever medical attention is deemed necessary, and release and hold harmless Grace Chapel its Pastors, Board Members, directors, employees, volunteers and teachers of any liability related to obtaining that medical attention. I understand Grace Chapel will make a reasonable attempt to contact my family as soon as possible following the need for medical treatment for the Participant. In the event treatment is required from a physician and/or hospital personnel designated by Grace Chapel, I agree to release and hold the physician and/or hospital personnel harmless from any claims, demands, or suits for damages related to their acceptance of this document as consent to provide treatment. I also acknowledge I will ultimately be responsible for the cost of any medical care.
