We will have two focuses for our missional offering this summer. Our first one will be to collect non-perishable food items for a local food pantry here in Milwaukee. Great items to bring in will be peanut butter, jelly, rice, pasta, pasta sauce, mac and cheese, canned fruits, and vegetables. Let's Shine Jesus' Light by stocking up the food pantry for the summer.
Our second project will be to collect monetary donations to help provide Bibles in a language that kids can understand in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. Our goal will be to raise enough money to supply 50 Bibles ($600) to Operation Kid to Kid. Each Bible costs $12. We will learn more about this project during the week of VBS.
