What to Wear: Campers should wear comfortable clothing and close-toed shoes so they can safely participate in all of our games and activities.
Camper Check-In First Night of VBS: Drop-off and check-in will take place from 5:40pm-6:00pm each night. Please follow the signage in the parking lot to the drop-off area which is located on the side of the building near the playground. On the first night of VBS, please plan on parking in the children’s ministry parking lot and walking your children into the building to check in. Signs will direct parents to respective lines based on their last name letters: A-H, I-P, and Q-Z. Children will receive a name tag with their name and assigned number and parents will receive a car sign with their corresponding number. We ask that you please clearly display these numbers in the driver-side dashboard for drop off and pick up so that we can easily read them. This will help us be more efficient in releasing children safely at the end of VBS. For safety and security reasons parents once your child is checked in parents will not be allowed to stay in the classroom during the event.
Check-in Process Nights 2-5:
Parents will use the carpool line for drop-offs between 5:40-6:00 pm. Volunteers will assist children out of cars and ensure they are escorted by runners upon entering the building where they will join the respective crew.
Check-out Nights 1-4:
Check-out will begin at 8:30 PM. Parents, please remain in your cars once you have joined the carpool line. Children will be released based on where you are in the carpool line.
Check-out on the Last Night of VBS:
Parents are invited to join their children in the sanctuary from 8:15 pm-8:30 pm the last night of VBS. Parents attending the celebration should bring their car sign. After the event, parents will turn in their car tag to the crew leader for check-out. Parents not attending must park, come inside, and show their car tag for pick-up.
Note: Snacks and water will be provided, however, due to the timing of the event you may want to consider feeding your child dinner or a heavier snack prior to arrival.
