Dear Families,

We know the world is a crazy place right now. Times are "unprecedented" and things are "crazy." Please know of our specific prayers for you, your families, and your children.

The coronavirus pandemic has obviously changed things for our parish community, as it has in so many other areas of our lives. Please know we place the safety & health of our community members, our families, and especially our youngest parishioners as our top priority. This is why we're offering some flex options for families this year when it comes to faith formation.

We will hold in-person gatherings, implementing new health & safety procedures. We have implemented the following:

  • Temperature checks will be taken upon entrance.
  • Masks/face coverings will be required for all participants. Hand sanitizer will abundantly available.
  • Our meeting space is cleaned thoroughly and often by staff before and after meetings.
  • We will initially gather in Parish House #5, with social distancing. If our numbers grow, we will move our meetings to the Parish Center to allow for social distancing.
  • There will be an emphasis on outside, open-air activities, including fellowship, service projects, and opportunities to change the face of House #5!
  • Sessions will be shorted, to limit the time spent in one space.
  • The food typically available in the Youth House will be modified. Instead of shared food options, boxed food options will be available. (Don't worry, we'll nourish these kids physically and spiritually!)

For those who are not ready to return in-person, we are offering both digital and at-home resources. Materials for activities will be made available to families, which can be done at home.

We are committed to serving all of our families in whatever way we can. Again, please know of our prayers for you and if there is anything we can do, please do not hesitate to contact Jessica Smith at 386-767-6111 or at jsmith@catholicchurchofepiphany.com.
