At Rocky Railway VBS, kids will discover how Jesus rescues us through life's storms. Rocky Railway is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! Sciency-Fun Gizmos, team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. (Since everything is hands on, kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes and safe shoes). Plus, we'll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life - something we call 'God Sightings'. Get ready to hear that phrase a lot!
Your kids will also participate in a hands-on mission project to collect donations for Feed My Starving Children (our Good Shepherd Youth Ministry will volunteer during the 2021-2022 school year and will bring our donation with them).
Rocky Railway VBS is open to children entering Kindergarten through those entering fifth grade. Registrations are due by June 5th. We need lots of volunteers to make this week successful for all, the more adult volunteers we have the more children we can accommodate with safe environment restrictions. Adults and teens can help by getting involved as Station Leaders or Crew Leaders, and incoming 6th graders can assist as Jr. Crew Leaders who help all the participants have a great week.
