Welcome back VBS VOLUNTEERS!!! You are truly the heart and soul of this important ministry! Please complete the following steps to prevent mistakes or delayed future communication.

STEP 1: Complete online registration

STEP 2: Put the required training date on your calendar: Adult Training (Monday, May 11th at 6:30 pm in Fellowship Hall) or Youth Training (Sunday, June 7th at 9:15 am in Chapel).

STEP 3: Add yourself to the GroupMe app on your phone or computer. THIS is the only way we will be communicating to our volunteer team, so it is imperative that you sign yourself up immediately. Click the link below to add yourself to the group. Once you click on the link there will be 2 options to choose from: computer or phone. If you do not already have a group me account, you will be prompted to create one.

STEP 4: Check your email to make sure you receive a confirmation email after registering. This will confirm that your email was entered correctly. Check your spam folder and mark the recipient as "safe" so future communication is not delayed.

YOUTH VOLUNTEERS PLEASE READ: Parents, if you are registering your teen, please have them sit with you or let them do it themselves. This is a great opportunity to learn responsibility especially if they are working with children at VBS. Parents often sign their teen up for a spot they did not want which causes additional work later. Not everyone will be guaranteed a spot to serve. We will work hard to find the best fit for everyone; however, spots will be filled first by our youth ministry at First UMC of Jupiter and then we will fill open spaces next. If we are unable to find you a place to serve, we will communicate by May 1st via the email you provide on this registration form so you can make other summer plans. Thank you for your understanding.

ADULT VOLUNTEERS: As a way of saying thank you for your time and energy, your child's registration is discounted from $60 to $10.

REQUIRED VOLUNTEER TRAINING: ADULT Volunteers, Monday, May 11th at 6:30pm and YOUTH Volunteers: Sunday, June 7th at 9:00 am. This training will cover every aspect of our week together and what to expect. YOUTH VOLUNTEERS: If you cannot make the offered training times, please do not register yourself as a volunteer.
