Who can attend Treasured VBS?
Kids age 4 (on or before July 26, 2021) to those who have completed 5th grade.
We are very strict on this policy as our preschool program will fill to capacity and have a waiting list. Our desire if for every child to experience the fun and learning of VBS, but we just don't have the space to accommodate students under the age of 4.
WAITING LIST! If the specific grade that you need is full, please email rwoltmann@foclutheran.org and we can add your name to the waiting list. Please DO NOT register your child in any grade other than the correct one. Preschoolers need to be in our preschool program in order to have a positive experience at VBS.
Should I select Preschool or Kindergarten?
Preschool includes kids ages 4 - 6 who have NOT completed Kindergarten. Please select the grade that the child is leaving/has completed when registering for VBS.
Who can volunteer?
Students who have completed 7th-12th grade are welcome to volunteer as crew leaders and station assistants.
Adults over 18 are welcome to serve in any role.
What about 6th grade students?
This year we have something new! For those students who are currently in 6th grade, we will have a special VBS-week program just for you that focuses on service. This group of 6th grade students will be led by Pete Hiller, our Youth Ministry Director. There is no charge for 6th grade students to participate in this program, but you will still need to register in the "volunteer" section.
I want to volunteer, but I have kids under 4!
Nursery care will be available only for our volunteers who have kids 3 years old and younger. To sign up your child for nursery care, please email rwoltmann@foclutheran.org.
What's included with the registration cost?
Registration fees include programming, supplies, and snacks for each day of VBS (July 26-30), as well as a t-shirt for each participant or volunteer, and (NEW FOR 2021!) a music CD or download card for each participant family! Once you register, music CDs or download cards are ready to be picked-up from the church office M-Th 9 am - 4 pm or Fri 9 am - 12 pm or any Sunday morning from Ruth Woltmann.
