Climb aboard for mountains of fun at Rocky Railway! On this faith-filled adventure, kids discover that trusting Jesus pulls them through life's ups and downs.
This year we will host a hybrid online/in-person event so everyone can choose their comfort level for participation. You will register to participate in person at First Rowlett UMC for either Session 1 (Sunday and Tuesday) or Session 2 (Monday and Wednesday) or Virtual Only. A parent will need to stay with their children for the duration of the evening. We encourage whole families to attend as there is no age limit to attending VBS and everyone in the family will have a great, faith filled experience!
Every night at 6:00 pm Rocky Railway VBS will livestream an action-packed, engaging opening session featuring the Story Teller, the Skit Guys, the VBS Dancers, and your Children's Ministry Leaders!
On-Site your family will experience fun outdoor stations that include Great Big Messy Art, Water Obstacle Courses, Team Challenges, Trackless Trains, Snacks and so much more!
Daily your child can participate in VBS at home with the contents of the Family VBS Box. Inside this box you will find a daily craft, a daily snack, a daily game, and, a daily family activity.
On the last day of VBS, Thursday, all registered children and their parents are invited to join us in an "End of VBS Celebration" that will include food, music, and games for the whole family.
