FBC Bentonville invites you to come and experience ATHENS VBS from 9am-Noon, Monday, July 8th – Friday, July 12th. Each day, kids will take a trip back into Bible-times exploring some of the adventures the Apostle Paul faced. This exciting event makes God’s Word come alive with new meaning for all who participate. We will have music, games, snacks, crafts and loads of fun! You won’t want to miss out on hearing about Paul’s incredible and dangerous journey to share the TRUTH!
VBS PARENT MEETING
Parents/guardians will NEED to attend the Parent Meeting onSunday, July 7th at 4:00PM in the FBC Worship Center. We have some exciting changes to accommodate our large number of VBS participants. We want to inform you of these changes and give you your child(ren)’s information packet. You will not be able to pick up your child(ren) at the end of the day without having this information packet!
DISMISSAL PROCEDURE
To insure the safety of each child, this year, each VBS participant will wear a bracelet with a four-digit number that corresponds with the parent/guardian pick up ID card. You MUST present your parent/guardian ID card in order to pick up your child (either physical copy or picture from phone.) This applies to all ages. Siblings will have the same four-digit number in order to help minimize your troubles. The bracelets and parent/guardian ID cards will be in a packet given to you at theVBS PARENT MEETING. Pick up is in the following locations:
Preschool: Preschool classrooms in Children’s Area
K-6th Grade: Worship Center
SNACK LIST
Day 1: Movie popcorn and plain M&Ms
Day 2: Graham crackers, pretzel sticks, gummy bears, and vanilla frosting
Day 3: Chocolate pudding cups and cool whip
Day 4: Ritz crackers and pepperoni
Day 5: Vienna cookies and gummy worms
*If your child has a food allergy, please pack an alternative snack for that day.
