Day Missions Code of Conduct
Read over this code with your child(ren). Then initial that you are in agreement on behalf of your child(ren).
- I will glorify God with my actions and reactions.
- Due to COVID-19, masks are to be worn according to CDD guidelines.
- I will be respectful to my peers and adults at all times.
- I will obey the rules.
- I will not bring valuables and will be responsible for items I do bring.
- I will pick up any trash I see at the church or at the mission locations.
- I understand there is NO roughhousing.
- NO food or drinks are to be carried in the Harper Chapel.
- I will follow the dress code - NO short shorts/skirts, halter tops, spaghetti straps, inappropriate words/messages on shirts. Shoes must be worn at all times and preferably tennis shoes in order to work/play at mission sites.
- No youth games or video games are to be played during Day Missions.
- No students on the stage or in the sound booth unless instructed by a leader or part of the music or media crew.
- I will not use profanity.
- I will not use tobacco or alcohol at any time.
- Cell phones will be used for emergencies and Day Missions photo opportunities only.
- I will participate in all Day Mission activities.
By initialing at the bottom, I acknowledge that I have read this form with my child(ren) and that we understand First Presbyterian's Code of Conduct. My child(ren) and I understand that if he/she/they break the rules, that parents will be called and they will be reprimanded. They might also be sent home.
