At Stellar VBS, kids will discover what it means to shine Jesus' light. At Stellar VBS, kids explore how Jesus shined hope, love, forgiveness, and joy to the world - and how we can do the same with his power! It will be a week full of faith discoveries, memorable music and epic adventures that help kids grow in friendship with Jesus!
Children will be assigned into crews - small groups that are close in age plus a Crew Leader and Assistant Crew Leader. Crews will be comprised of rising first and second graders and rising third through fifth graders. Rising kindergartners will be in their own crews. Crews travel together for each day's adventures.
Sing & Play Blast Off - The day begins at Sing & Play Blast Off. All crews are together as they are introduced to the daily Bible Point, key Bible verse, and Bible Memory Buddy. Each day, kids sing the theme song, "Shine His Light," which challenges kids to shine Jesus for all to see. In addition to fun praise songs, kids sing at least one song each day that specifically ties to that day's Bible Point.
Stellar Bible Adventures - At Stellar Bible Adventures kids will experience the daily Bible story in a way that engages them physically and emotionally.
Galactic Snacks - Each day's snack experience connects to the Stellar theme.
Space Crafts - Kids will dive into exciting crafts that connect to our awesome theme.
KidVid Cinema - At KidVid Cinema the daily Bible verse and Bible Point are reinforced as children watch and discuss the inspiring true story featured in each day's video segment. They will also learn about our Operation Kid-to-Kid mission project.
All-Star Games - Each day the children will play games that connect with the daily Bible Point.
Cosmic Closing - All crews will end the day at Cosmic Closing where there will be drama experiences and engaging object lessons to help kids apply what they've learned through the day. Kids will watch the special daily Spotlight VBS slideshow that reminds them of the daily Bible story and Bible Point.
