Preschool-Room 316A: 3s and 4s will have such a sweet introduction to Sunday School and learning about a God who created them, loves them, and is always with them in their classroom space in the Nursery area.  Candy King, Alda Biddell, and Angeline Mills are among the gentle, nurturing leaders for these children.  Also, as an added bonus, Ellen Powell will do Kindermusik with these sweet ones each week.  If your children are in the nursery before or after Sunday School, it is up to you as parents to check them out of one place and into the other.

H3:  (Head, Heart, Hands) K-Room 318, 1st-Room 316B, 2nd-Room 314, and 3rd-Room 302  will do a 4 week-long program each month.  They will join together on the 1st Sunday of the month for a fun, exciting, and interactive session where the unit theme and scriptures will be introduced.  The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of the month will have these children in their classrooms doing integrated learning along the theme of the month by doing Arts projects, Missions activities and small group discussion.  Our Key Leaders for these projects are Kathryn Sobel, Renae Newmiller, and Sarah White.  Repetition of the theme is a research-based best practice for educating children and we think this will be an excellent way to learn, love, and serve alongside these children!

Go Fourth-Room 305:   During the 4th grade year, the students will do an overview of the Bible.  They will cover some history of the Bible, the books of the Bible and how they are grouped, special passages that they will memorize and become familiar with, and learn how to use their Bible to best explore what God is still saying to them even today. We have a team of dedicated teachers in this class, among whom is Reverend Ned Hill!  What a gift for these 4th graders to learn Bible foundations to prepare them for Confirmation and especially for life!

Level 5-Room 300:  (5th grade) Mr. Monte Montgomery and friends, along with Rush Beam, Director of estreetyouth, will help our 5th graders to explore what it means to follow Jesus in the world today.  They will have excellent conversations, competitions (sometimes with parents!), and a lot of fun.  As these young people prepare for middle school and for youth group, this is an excellent year of transitional experiences for them.  They will learn about God, love others, and serve all!
