Vacation Bible School is a five-day community-wide, non-denominational program for kids ages 3 through 5th grade. Teens (entering 6th grade and older) from Emanuel Lutheran Church & School participate as Helpers. Through fun games, songs, crafts, snacks, and activities, kids will learn of the gracious love of our Lord. This year’s theme for Vacation Bible School is “SCUBA: Diving into Friendship with God!”
WHO: Children ages 3 through entering 5th Grade are welcome to be Campers. Teens entering 6th Grade and older are welcome to be Helpers. All children from Patchogue and surrounding communities are invited to attend, so please mark your calendars, and Invite a Friend!
WHAT: A week-long non-denominational program of Bible stories, games, experiments, songs, skits, snacks, and crafts.
WHEN: Vacation Bible School is Monday, August 12th through Friday, August 16th, from 9:00am – 12:00pm. We will accept registrations up until August 12th, but please pre-register before July 15th to assure your child receives a “Scuba” T-Shirt! T-Shirts can only be guaranteed to children who have pre-registered, since they must be ordered/printed ahead of time.

HOW MUCH: The cost for supplies, snacks, buddies, crafts, and a theme T-shirt is $40 per child. We would certainly welcome your financial gift to help offset the cost for all children in our community who wish to participate. :) Any gifts, of cash or check, may be delivered in person or mailed (please see address above) to Emanuel Lutheran Church, up until the first day of Vacation Bible School: August 12th, 2024. Checks may be made out to “Emanuel Lutheran Church”, please note “VBS 2024” on memo line.
