We are glad that your child will be joining us for Rainforest Falls, the summer event that guides kids in exploring the nature of God! At Rainforest Falls, the kids will be rooted in the fertile truth of meaningful, life-changing characteristics of God - their loving Creator who knows them and will love them forever. It will be 5 days full of faith discoveries, memorable music, and epic adventures that help kids grow in faith!
Children will be assigned into crews - small groups that are close in age plus a Crew Leader and Assistant Crew Leaders. Crews will include rising first and second graders and rising third through fifth graders. Rising kindergartners will be in their own crews. Crews will travel together for each day's adventures.
Sing & Play Tune Lagoon - The day begins at Sing & Play Tune Lagoon. All crews are together as they are introduced to the daily Bible Point, key Bible verse, and Bible Memory Buddy. Each day, kids sing the theme song, "God Is," a celebration of God's unfathomable nature. In addition to other fun praise songs, kids sing at least one song each day that specifically ties to that day's Bible Point. Each day, Crew members discuss their God Sightings as a reminder that God is at work every day!
Rooted Bible Adventures - At Rooted Bible Adventures kids experience the daily Bible story in a way that engages them physically and emotionally.
Treetop Treats - Each day's snack experience connects to the Bible Point.
Sticky Scripture - At Sticky Scripture, fresh and meaningful experiences help words in the Bible stick to kid's hearts, minds and lives! The daily Bible verse is reinforced as children watch and interact with the immersive video. They will also learn about our Tunnel to Towers mission project.
Rainforest Crafts - Kids will make exciting crafts that connect to our awesome theme.
Wild Games - Each day the kids will play games that connect to our awesome theme.
Canopy Closing - All crews will end at Canopy Closing where there will be drama experiences and engaging object lessons to helps kids apply what they've learned throughout the day. Kids will watch the special daily Spotlight VBS slideshow - featuring photographs of the kids that reminds them of the daily Bible story and Bible Point.
