Each day of Rainforest Falls VBS children will have the opportunity to give an offering during our opening worship time. This is a great spiritual practice to teach children the importance of giving back and help them see the impact of small gifts combined for great causes. Children are encouraged to give with their heart, as they are able. Every penny helps!
Our offering from Rainforest Falls VBS will go in support of Residing Hope, formerly known as the Florida United Methodist Children's Home.
The Florida United Methodist Children's Home was established in 1908 to provide a home for orphans and other children that had nowhere else to live. Today it serves as a diverse ministry with two campuses that include residential, therapeutic group, foster and emergency shelter care, as well as independent living assistance and a community child care center. Now called Residing Hope, the mission to help children remains the same!
