How much does it cost for my child to attend Monumental Summer Experience?
There is no charge for your child to attend. We want our program to be accessible to everyone. Many parents ask if they can help support our program monetarily. We are very appreciative to anyone who is able to support us with a financial gift. It costs Olive Knolls approximately $50 per child for one week of Stellar Summer Experience. There is a donation button on our home page if you would like to give a gift to support our program.
What time is drop off and pick up?
On our first day, Monday, July 17th, our doors will open at 8:30 am. The first day we allow extra time to get all of our children checked-in. The rest of the week, Tuesday 7/18 - Friday, 7/21, our doors will open at 8:45 am.
Please be on time for pick up at 12:00 noon. We have many volunteers who have other responsibilities that will require them to leave at noon. You are welcome to come at 11:30am each day and watch our Cosmic Closing Celebration. This will give you a glimpse of what your child experiences during their time with us each day. Please do not get your child from their Crew Leader until Cosmic Closing is finished.
What does my child need to bring and wear each day?
Your child doesn't need to bring anything. We supply all the materials they will need to have an epic time with us. Please have them wear clothing they would play in at home and shoes they can run in. We want them to be comfortable and ready for all of our crazy activities. Be sure to apply sunscreen before they come in the morning. They will spend time outdoors. Please leave toys at home. There will be so much to do they won't need any distractions with them.
Will a snack be provided?
Yes, we supply a snack and drink each day. There will also be water stations located around our facility to make sure your child has plenty of access to water. If your child has allergies please leave that information for us on their registration form. We will accommodate their needs.
Can we walk in on the first day and register in-person?
To help us prepare the best week for your child we strongly encourage you to register in advance. This will help us have proper staffing, supplies, and crew assignments for everyone. Please register in advance. We cannot promise there will be room for your child to attend if you don't register in advance.
Can my child be in a group with their friends?
Children will be in small, mixed age groups (5 per crew). You will have the opportunity to request 1 friend your child would like to be with when you register. We will do our best to have them in the same crew.
Can we purchase Stellar merchandise at Olive Knolls?
Yes, we will have shop where you can purchase the Stellar music download ($10 for all 9 songs, buddy videos, bonus content, and streaming on up to 5 devices), T-shirts ($10), and banduras ($4).
Will there be a Closing Program?
Yes, on Sunday, July 23rd at 10 am you are invited to join us at Olive Knolls Church for a snapshot of all the fun we had during our week. We will sing the songs your kids will love, have a slide show of all the activities from the week, and take a moment to thank all the wonderful volunteers who will make Stellar Summer Experience possible.
