PARENTAL CONSENT is required as part of registration to attend Christ the Redeemer VBS.
LIABILITY RELEASE: In consideration of the Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church allowing the Participant to participate in VBS, each parent or guardian will be asked as part of registration to release, forever discharge and agree to hold harmless Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church, its pastor, ministerial staff, directors, employees, volunteers and teachers (collectively herein the “Church”) from any and all liability, claims or demands for accidental personal injury, sickness or death, as well as property damage and expenses, of any nature whatsoever which may be incurred by your family and the Participant while involved in the activities. The parent or legal guardian of this Participant, is asked to grant permission for the Participant to participate fully in the activities. Furthermore, a parent or guardian, on behalf of the minor Participant, hereby assumes all risk of accidental personal injury, sickness, death, damage and expense as a result of participation in recreation and work activities involved therein. The parent or guardian further hereby agrees to hold harmless and indemnify said Church for any liability sustained by said Church as the result of the negligent, willful or intentional acts of said Participant, including expenses incurred attendant thereto.
EARLY RETURN HOME POLICY: Should it be necessary for your child to return home due to medical reasons, disciplinary action or otherwise, the parent or guardian must agree to return to the Church in a reasonable time after being notified and assume all responsibility. We want VBS to be safe and fun for everyone; therefore, physical or verbal bullying and violence will not be allowed and students will be required to leave immediately.
