Wednesday Kids' Ministries are composed of two sections:
Girls' Life is an opportunity for girls in first through fifth grades to grow in their faith while building relationships with adult women in the church. We will have large group teaching time, small group discussions, singing, play socially distanced games and complete simple crafts.
Boys' LIFE (formerly Tree Climbers and Stockade) is a children and men's ministry with the purpose of building strong relationships between men, boys, and Christ. Boys' LIFE is designed for fathers/mentors and their sons. Men of children of all ages (grades 1-5) are needed and strongly encouraged to be there to build stronger relationships with their son and other boys. Since men will be assisting other children, they need to have their clearances as they will be volunteers and participants. There will be a time of prayer and fellowship for the men (mentors and fathers of the children); Bible study, small group discussion, and Scripture memorization; and snack time and games.
COVID-19 guidelines we will be following:
- Due to the current, universal masking order, masks will need to be worn the whole time. Both indoors and outdoors.
- Participants will sit three feet apart for large group and small group instruction
- Efforts will be made to keep participants six feet apart during games, but this will not be able to happen 100% of the time.
- Participants will use hand sanitizer before and after games involving contact and/or shared equipment
- Pre-packaged individually wrapped snacks will be provided by Cornerstone. This is only for the boys.
- Participants will bring their own Bibles and water bottles
- A clipboard and pencil/supply case will be provided for each girl. These materials can be left at church in between weeks.
