Cordova Neighborhood Church VBS Scuba Adventure!

Our Scuba Vacation Bible School (VBS) is open to children Kindergarten through rising 6th grade! We also welcome volunteers of all ages (beginning with rising 7th graders).
At our VBS, we have small, multi-age elementary school crews! This encourages kids to help each other, learn from each other, and build new friendships. We have tested this year after year, and it works beautifully. If your child has a friend he or she would like to be paired with, please let us know! We will do our best to pair them in the same crew, or in the same group so that they will travel with each other throughout the day!
Below is some important information about this year's VBS.
- Safety is of utmost importance at our church! All of our volunteers are trained, and adult volunteers are background-checked.
- Kids will have an opportunity to enjoy a snack each day, and we will provide parents with a list of snacks prior to VBS. Please be sure to let us know if your child has any food allergies.
- Each year we include a mission component to our Vacation Bible School, to teach children the importance of serving others as Jesus did! This year we will be collecting school supplies for children in need. You'll receive more info in the weeks to come!
- All VBS families are invited to attend our 11:00am church service on Sunday, July 28th, where we will celebrate the week!
There is a fee of $20 per child to attend our VBS to help us offset the cost.
We never want cost to deter a child from attending, so scholarships are available! Email Shula Gossard at cncscuba2024@gmail.com or call the church office at (916) 635-5992 if your child needs a scholarship.
