Can anyone come to ROAR VBS? All children, ages 3 yrs. to those who have completed 4th grade can attend.
The Bible says in Matthew 19:14 "Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.' ”
Do I have to attend Cleveland Church of Christ? No, children from all church affiliations or no church affiliation are welcome to attend.
Does it cost any money to attend VBS? There are no registration fees to attend. All costs have been covered by the Cleveland Church of Christ. We do take a free will offering every night to support the featured mission. In the past we have sponsored a child in Haiti to provide food, clothing and education for them.
What kind of snacks are you having? My child has allergies. Not to worry, snacks are provided every night that correlate with the theme for the day. If your child has specific allergies please let us know on your registration form and then we will provide an alternate snack for them.
What will I learn at VBS? Each night we teach a Bible adventure and have activities and crafts to reinforce the message. This year the lessons revolve around the Old Testament stories. Your child will learn that through life's ups and downs Jesus' power pulls us through
Do I have to come every night? We realize that families have lots going on during the week. We encourage you to attend every night. If you can only come one night, that's okay too. We would like to help encourage your child by providing a gift for those coming every night during the closing program.
Will there be a program? Yes! Thursday night wraps up the week with a closing program for the parents, family and friends to see what we have been doing during the week. We invite all of you to attend.
