Daily Snack
Each day your child will be given a themed snack to go along with our Bible story and Bible point for the day. Our snack list is listed below. If your child cannot participate in ANY part of the snack, please send a separate snack for them in a Ziplock bag labeled with their name and crew. Water will be available for outdoor games, and served with snack. Goldfish, Cheerios, Pretzels, or Animal Crackers may be used as "filler" snacks if needed.
DAILY SNACK INFO:
Day 1: Soutwest Sunshine - Cheetos, Mandarin Oranges, Nilla Wafers
Day 2: Sandy Cups - Chocolate Pudding Cups, Pretzel Sticks, Gummy Worms, Cookie Crumbs
Day 3: Desert Crunch - Chex mix, pretzels, raisins, chocolate chips, marshmallows, goldfish
Day 4: Cactus Spears - Veggie Straws, Mozzarella Cheese Stick, Craisins
Day 5: Rockin' Wraps - Flour tortilla, Deli ham, American cheese, Mayo/Mustard packets
MISSIONS
On Day 1, your child will be given a container of mini M&M's. We will encourage them to earn money for missions (helping others in need) by doing chores and to fill their M&M containers with change. Quarters fit perfectly or dollar bills are great too!
We will have a friendly competition between sections to see who brings in the most money. Our goal is $10,000 (which is only about $15/person). This is a BIG goal, but we serve a BIGGER GOD and with over 600 participants plus 250+ volunteers, this goal is totally obtainable! The winning section will get a sweet treat on Friday! Our collected mission money will go to help local centers who support Foster families, the pregnancy resource center, and children in need through Gulf Coast Kids House.
