This summer at VBS we are partnering with Lighthouse Youth Center and collecting snack items to help them serve local children and teens of our community.
The Lighthouse
Youth Center is a local (Oxford, PA) para-church organization that reaches youth ages 9-18
with the message of the Good News of Jesus Christ. The
Lighthouse provides both recreational opportunities and educational opportunities for youth after
school and during the summer. Their programs include homework assistance, Bible studies, college scholarships, and assistance in job preparation. The facility has a full court gym, a half
court gym, recreational games, and outdoor playing areas.
Children who attend the Lighthouse are provided with free snacks in the afternoon and a free evening meal at 5:00 PM. Each night at the Lighthouse, a motivational speaker shares before their daily meal. Each night after dinner youth have the opportunity to ask questions about faith, receive prayer, seek guidance, or get extra assistance.
Lighthouse staff members will be present at our VBS Closing Celebration on Thursday evening so you can learn more about this amazing local ministry.

During VBS, children can bring in items every day (look for the designated collection bins). Every item that is brought in also earns points for your child's team (Boys vs. Girls) during VBS. The list of requested items is below.
