VBS at Christ UMC is for children entering 1st-5th Grade. Be sure to select the grade your child will be entering Fall of 2021. Register your kids today and sign-up to volunteer! 

ADULT VOLUNTEERS: We need over 150 volunteers to make VBS a safe and successful event. That means we need YOU! Come spend a week with amazing kids, share your love for the Lord and grow your own faith!  Nursery (Babies-2yrs) and PreSchool VBS (3-5yrs) is available for children of volunteers only.

YOUTH VOLUNTEERS: We rely heavily on youth volunteers (entering 6th-12th). When registering as a Youth Volunteer, please make sure that you register for the correct volunteer role (Branch: entering 6th/7th, or Youth: entering 8th-12th) and not an Adult Volunteer Role!

SAFETY: Sign up TODAY! Space is limited this year due to minimizing group sizes and space limitations due to construction on campus in other areas.  The health of your kids and volunteers is the highest priority!  

VBS is right around the corner, and we are so excited for kids to learn just how treasured they are by God. We understand that different perspectives have existed around COVID-19. We want to operate as normally as possible while still making modifications in light of COVID-19. We have created a plan that honors the state and local health guidelines, as well as following what CSISD is doing. Although we do not anticipate it, our policies may change and adapt as we get closer to VBS. Any changes will be communicated.

VBS COVID-19 Plan

  • Smaller crews of 5-8 kids to limit close contact.
  • Maximum capacity limit for VBS.
  • We will limit the number of kids in a station according to room capacities to ensure the ability to social distance crews within stations.
  • During large group in the Sanctuary, crews will social distance from each other.
  • Hand sanitizer will bein each station to be used upon entering and exiting.
  • Rooms will be sanitized each day.
  • Snacks and drinks will be individually store bought packages.
  • Masks will not be required, however we encourage anyone to wear masks that wishes to do so.
