Our VBS runs from August 13-17th. We start every day at 9:00am and finish at 11:30am. Age range is Kindergarten to Gr.6. If you would like to register your child or register to volunteer please follow the appropriate link on the main page.
What our day's routine looks like:
1. Pep Rally
- When you drop your children off at 9:00am they come right into our main room for our pep rally. Here we warm up for the day by singing, looking ahead to the day`s activities, and some times enjoying a skit or drama from some volunteers.
2. Crafts/Snack/Story/Games
- After the pep rally the children (who have been grouped into 3-4 smaller groups) will rotate through our four stations.
- In CRAFTS the children will have the opportunity to put their creative skills to use by working on 2-3 projects throughout the week
- SNACKS sees the kids eating some fun (sports-themed) snacks while learning the memory verse/motto for the day
- GAMES involves the children participating in outdoor challenges and activities that will see their skills grow and challenge them to work together
- Finally our STORY time is when the children will learn how God's word can teach them some incredible truths for life. Just as athletes need a coach and playbook, we believe that God's word has all that we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3)
3. Our day wraps up with our closing rally where we will review the day activities, sing some more songs, and prepare for you to come back for 11:30am and pick your children up.
