Welcome to Rocky Railway VBS - the summer event that puts kids on the track for trusting Jesus! We'll explore Jesus' power and how we can trust Jesus to pull us through when life feels like a valley or a mountaintop.
Once you have registered your child online, you can choose to pay online as well, or by cash or check. Please write checks out to Crestview Presbyterian Church. Then sit back and relax until Monday, July 12! Sign in begins at 8:30 that morning in our main narthex. Volunteers will be available to show you and your child where to go once registered. (This is also where your child will meet his/her preschool teacher or crew leader each morning for the rest of the week.) Each morning after that, preschool aged children will be escorted to their classrooms by a parent and elementary aged children will be escorted to our middle sanctuary by a parent. All children must be signed in each morning with the preschool teacher or crew leader and then signed out each afternoon for safety purposes. If, for any reason, a parent will not be dropping off or picking up, please let the teacher or crew leader know in advance who will be doing this instead. We will check IDs for any person picking up children who are not a parent. Thank you in advance for this as our first priority is always the safety of our children!
Each day, please send your child/children in play clothes that can get dirty and wet and closed toe shoes with non-skid soles. We will be playing and experimenting and this can be messy business! Some of our games include water fun, which helps us to cool off on those hot summer days, but gets very messy too.
This year, we will gather inside each morning for our Opening and then will head outdoors to the Crestview back lawn where we will spend our station time under tents or playing games on the lawn. We know it will be HOT, so we've shortened our meeting times each day and will provide lots of cold water bottles. Please feel free to send your child with his/her own water bottle each day too. At the end of each morning, we will head back inside for our Closing and dismissal.

Our prayer is that Rocky Railway VBS will allow everyone involved to discover why and how we can truly trust Jesus' power to do big things in our lives!
