Volunteer Details
We invite you to join our team!
If you are interested in volunteering for VBS, please complete the volunteer registration on this website. You may indicate which volunteer job(s) you are interested in and we will let you know where you are assigned. We will contact you about requirements for volunteers.
We follow Safe Sanctuary procedures and will require all volunteers 18 and older to complete a Consent for Background check or have one on file at the church. Please send an email to children@spanishfortumc.org if you have any questions. We will contact you if additional forms are needed.
Youth (completed 6th grade and up) - Register and be sure to indicate your current grade. Please note that youth must be at least five grade levels ahead of any group they are helping with.
We do have nursery available for younger children of volunteers during VBS. Please send an email to children@spanishfortumc.org to register your nursery-age child as a VBS participant if you have signed up to volunteer the week of VBS.
We will have a MANDATORY volunteer meeting for all adult and youth volunteers on Sunday, May 31st at 3:00 pm. in the Youth Room (Suite C) located on our West Campus. Please put this date on your calendar!
