Vacation Bible School (VBS) Behavior Policy

1. Expectations for Participants

Children are expected to:

Listen carefully to leaders and follow directions.
Stay with their assigned group.
Use respectful language.
Respect physical boundaries with other children and volunteers.
Respect all church property and supplies.

2. Discipline and Correction

If behavior problems or harm towards oneself or others occur, we will follow these steps:

Warning: The leader explains the behavior that needs to change to the child.
Parent communication: If behavior continues, parents will be notified and potentially asked to provide a parent or adult to stay at VBS with their child.
Dismissal: In rare cases of continued disruption or purposeful harm, the child may be asked to leave the program for the safety and well-being of others.
