Volunteer Set Up Times: Sunday July 5 and July 12 (2:00-5:30, dinner provided) **TEENS MUST ATTEND ONE OF THESE

VBS Week Times: Monday-Thursday (8:45-12:15), Thursday evening (5:00-6:15), Friday (8:45-1:00)

Teens will rank their 1st-4th choices of jobs, and then they will be assigned closer to the VBS week.

If you sign up as a teen to volunteer for VBS, you are expected to be present at all times listed above, including the Family showcase on Thursday evening.

*Volunteers should not arrive late/leave early for appointments. Please be sure these are outside VBS times. If this cannot be avoided, please let Mrs. Bivens know. Additionally, if it cannot be avoided, please rank only stations. Our Crew Leaders must be with their crews at all times.

Adults: We invite you to join us for VBS all week, but we understand that you might not be able to make this commitment. If so, please select MWF or T/Th in the comments section. Please plan to attend one of the Sunday set up afternoons (July 5 and July 12), especially if you are a station leader.

For Parents of Teen Volunteers: Please list ALL adults with whom your child may leave during VBS week. If your teen is old enough to drive and will be driving him/herself to VBS, please let me know.

Teen Leaders: Teen leaders must complete the Teen Leader Agreement Section (see below). Teens must attend one meeting and set up afternoon at Christ the King, either July 5 or July 12.

Adults Volunteers: Adults, including those are who 18 years old and have graduated from high school, must complete the diocesan required CMG Safe Environment online training and background check. For more information, click here. If you have already done the initial training with the last five years, you only need to complete the renewal.

I understand that I am expected to use respectful behavior at all times to all other leaders, to all participants, and to the staff and adult volunteers. This includes respectful language (NOTE: Inappropriate language will not be tolerated and warrants immediate dismissal from the program.) I understand that teen leaders should not have cell phones or any other electronic devices during VBS hours. Further, I understand that I am not permitted to use my phone to take photographs of any participant at VBS.

I understand that in addition to the volunteer hours of VBS, M-F 8:45-12:15, my responsibilities include the following: one teen leader meeting and setup on Sunday (either July 5 or July 12); the family showcase night on Thursday July 16 (volunteer arrival at 4:30); and a late dismissal on Friday at 1:00pm. Further, I understand that I should not have appointments that require late arrival or early dismissal. I agree to fully and respectfully participate in the designated role I am assigned and the activities of the group. Further, I understand that I must stay with my group or station at all times, with the exception of designated breaks. I understand that service credit is given based on my level of participation as a volunteer. I understand that if I cannot comply with the above mentioned statements, I may be dismissed from my volunteer responsibilities for the remainder of VBS.
