At VBS this year we will be collecting PENNIES (not quarters, dimes, nickels or half dollars) but PENNIES!
The pennies collected will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC to "STAMPEDE" out childhood hunger!!!
- Did you know that 1 in 5 children in our area do not receive proper nutritious meals?
- Did you know that for every $1 we collect and donate that $1 will provide 7 nutritious meals for a child in our area??!!??!!
We will have a boys bucket and a girls bucket available each night for the kids to dump their PENNIES! At the end of each night a total of money for each group will be announced as well as how many meals we provided.
So, let us join together as the family of God and help end childhood hunger!!!!
